You have two other options besides abortion when it comes to your pregnancy: adoption and parenting. While there are challenges to each of these, there are support and resources available to you to help.
Adoption
It may seem overwhelming to give your child to an adoptive family, but it may be the best option for you with life circumstances right now. That’s ok. You will always be a mother, and mothering could look like adoption for you. It’s a selfless and loving decision as you look out for your child’s future.
You can choose an open adoption, where you can still be part of your child’s life. You coordinate with your adoptive family visiting times, phone calls, holidays, and more. If it’s better for you to remain anonymous in the adoption process, a closed adoption may be a good fit for you.
Parenting
Do you feel inadequate to parent? Many women don’t parent because they don’t have the financial or material support, but there is help available to you. Parenting comes with great joy and love.
